Doodle a Daydream

Let's daydream about the perfect world. Let's doodle a daydream about healing the world or a part of the world.

"Sit in reverie and watch the changing color of the waves that break upon the idle seashore of the mind." ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“Wishing is good for us. Daydreams, fantasies, castles in the air, and aspirations all drive us forward, impel us to make things happen. They also tell us a lot about ourselves. Our wishes come straight from our core, and they are loaded with vital in.”

Yes...........this week........ let's doodle our daydreams.

Acts of Random Kindness

Do you remember the movie...Evan Almighty? In the end of the movie (Morgan Freeman) God tells Evan (Steve Carrell) that he did do what he was supposed to do..... that he did "change the world"....and then, he wrote the word ARK in the dirt. Then God looked at Evan and said that he did change the world with one act of random kindness.....one random act at a time.

What random acts of kindness are we choosing to do each day to change the world?

Let's go and make art about all the little acts of kindnesses that we do daily. Pay attention....be in the moment......see how you really are changing the world.

Our new prompt is Thoughts are Things.

Some days this seems to be my mantra. It is so true.
Let's start healing our world with good thoughts.

Make Me An Instrument Of Your Peace

Today we start our journey to heal the world through art. I thought that a great way to do this was to use the words of St Francis of Assisi, who was filled with inspirational joy and love of all nature and all people. There is such wisdom in the words. I look forward to bringing quotes from many great men and women for us to create with.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your Peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal light.

Welcome to the Sage Seven Visions Project

In starting The Sage Seven Visions Project, it is my hope to heal the world one beautiful piece of art at a time. I envision submitting heart inspiring and thought provoking prompts using quotations, heart thoughts (mine and others), and words to create a safe place to share our dreams of universal peace and love for all.

Once a week, I will post a theme for us to think on and create with for the
week. You can create art, poetry, photos, digital art......whatever way you choose to interpret the theme is wonderful. I would love for everyone to share their work.... I ask that you post your response on your own blog and send us a link in the comments section of the Sage Seven Visions post. Or if you prefer (or don't have a blog) send your art to me at amber.coffey@gmail.com and put SSV Project in the title and I will post your art for you.

Please include your name, your blog and/or website, and the name of your artwork. Feel free to expand on your idea with words or quotations of your own.

Please send only loving and positive art, because we are, after all, trying to heal our world, mother earth and all her inhabitants, one piece of art at a time.

Many, Many Blessings
